Weekly Review 6/9

I'm going to say this weekend was fantastic! Because I got to watch two of my favorite things. On Saturday we went over to my aunts house to watch the boxing match between Miguel Cotto and Sergio Martinez. Cotto took away Martinez's championship belt becoming the first Puerto Rican to win all four titles! My family and I were super proud, he is my favorite boxer! Then, on Sunday my mom took my cousin and I to watch The Fault In Our Stars which was an amazing movie, I cried like a baby. It's definitely one of my favorites. This weekend is great, let's see how this last week of school (finals) goes.

Weekly Review 6/2

This weekend was great! The weather was great and everything. I finally got to see my cousin after a long time and my church had their annual carnival which was pretty fun. On Sunday, my mom took my little brothers and I to downtown because I didn't want to be stuck at home. It was awesome, I love spending time with my family. It was really hot, but it was really fun. Also, we went to Potbelly's for the first time and let me just say, their Oreo milkshakes are the best!!! I can't want until school is over we have 2 weeks left. Summer vacations, please hurry!

Weekly Review 5/18

This week was so boring. I guess since school is almost over there isn't much to do anymore. The stress is starting to pile on for finals. The weather is starting to get nicer, I'm starting to get lazier. I really can't wait until school is over, I want summer break to come already. I might get a job! I'm kinda excited! Also, I started my countdown for California on August 9th. It's a big family trip, 14 of us in one house. I can't wait, we'll be there for about a week. Hopefully these next three weeks go by super fast.

Weekly Review 5/11

This week was actually pretty great! Well, this weekend was. This week was bad, one of the worst ones yet but hey there is no good without a little bad. This weekend my little brother and my little cousin received their first communion and we had a celebration afterwards in my backyard. It was so much fun! We had a salsa and merengue group play, we also had a taquero, which you can infer is the man who makes tacos lol. My family and I were literally dancing all night!  I didn't sit down at all, I had to take advantage because we don't get to see that group a lot even though the singer is our family friend. He sang at my quince too, that group is just amazing! Then on Mother's Day we all got together again and it was nice. Hopefully, next week is better.

Weekly Review 5/4

This week was pretty ok because we had yoga in P.E and 3 of the 5 days we had long division. Towards the end of the week I started getting sick so I felt horrible all weekend, I had to be on medicine all day. I don't want to go back to school. I want this week to go by super fast so it could be May 10th already, my little brother and cousin are going to receive their first communion and we're going to have a little celebration at my house afterwards. Hopefully this week goes better, also I hope we have better weather, we've had no spring so far.

Weekly Review 4/27

This week was great because we only had 3 days of school. The only bad part was that we had to come back on Friday to then go back to the weekend, but hey it was still a good week. This weekend was great because I got to spend it with my aunt from Puerto Rico who is leaving on Wednesday and I'm very sad because she is my favorite aunt in the whole entire world. This weekend we surprised her with a mini iPad that she had been wanting for a long time and she started crying because she was so happy, it brought tears to my eyes, I lover  her so much. I don't want her to leave, I know I'm gonna cry when she leaves, we both cry when she leaves, she is so near and dear to my heart. Hope this week turns out good, happy because we have yoga in P.E.

Weekly Review 4/13

This week was pretty good only because it was the week before spring break. It went by pretty fast and it was a pretty chill week. I kinda have a lot of homework so I'm going to try and finish it in the beginning of the week so I don't have much to worry about towards the end of the week. I hope this spring break I get to catch up on some sleep because I've lost quite a load of hours already. School gets me so tired, I'm too happy we're finally on break!

Weekly Review 3/23

This week was great! Friday was the best day out of all the days. I went to the boys basketball game with my best friend, it felt great to finally get to hang out with my best friend again. The bus ride was 3 hours long but it was worth it because the boys won 75-68, only to win the IHSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP the next day! I wish I would've been there Saturday but sadly no one wants to make that 3 hour drive to Peoria again. I was a little stressed out because I had a lot of tests/quizzes, which I studied really hard for so hopefully I did good. Hopefully, this next week goes just as good, and tomorrow being Monday shall be a good day because it will be our 5 month anniversary :)

Weekly Review 3/16

Honestly, this week wasn't really that great. I thought it was going to be better but it felt like everything was coming down on me. It wasn’t until the end of the week that things got better for me. I was happy because we are set for our summer vacation which I am super excited about because we will be going to California! It’s going to be a big family trip (about 15 of us) and it’ll be the first time in 10 years that I’m getting on a plane. So I’m happy about that, I hope this week turns out better.

Weekly Review 3/9

This week was pretty great, it's March though so I was kind of expecting spring to be here already. This weekend's weather was pretty nice though. On Friday my sister came from college in Iowa which is pretty nice she gets to spend the week with us. There hasn't been much going on lately, school has been the same busy and boring. I didn't have much homework except for Trig, which we'll be having a test next week so I need to prepare. Also, for my chemistry test because I'm not understanding what we're learning so I need to get good at stoichiometry pretty quickly. Hope this week is good, Saturday is my parents 17 year anniversary.

Weekly Review 2/23

This week was good, I’m super happy because swimming is finally over with! Those 4 weeks were such a drag, and I still didn’t even learn how to swim. This week was also such a drag, I guess because now we won’t have any days off until spring break. I hope these next weeks’ come by fast, I can’t wait until spring break. The pep rally on Thursday was kind of boring but it was good because we got shorter class periods. I’m glad I didn’t really get a lot of homework, so I can relax and I’m hoping to later on surprise my lovely boyfriend at his soccer tournament, fingers crossed!

Weekly Review 2/16

This week was pretty good actually, it sucks that we went get anymore days off until spring break. Also, I'm happy because this week will be the last week of swimming, I hate swimming! I'm so scared of swimming,  I can't put my face in the water, it's such a big fear of mine but I didn't want to be too sensitive, I wanted to at least try. Also, I had a great Valentine's weekend, on Friday my boyfriend took me to the movies and we watched Endless Love and on Saturday we went to the school dance, which was pretty good because I got to be with him and they played more Spanish music which is my favorite. I hope this week is another good week.

Weekly Review 2/9

This week was a pretty great week, mostly because it was my birthday week. My birthday was Wednesday, and I have to say it was a pretty great day. My locker was decorated by my best friend, which was so cute! It made my morning because I was having a crappy morning due to the weather, and the buses being delayed which made me super late to school. I was very happy though because I didn’t have to swim, and then Franken wasn’t here Friday either, so that was two days without swimming which was pretty great because I hate swimming. Saturday I went to dinner with my family and my best friend, it was a really nice time. Bad thing is I have a lot of homework. Hope this next week turns out to be a good one.

Weekly Review 1/26

I'm so happy finals are over with; the week of finals always has me stressed out. I'm happy because my grades stayed the same, so I have A's and B's. There are a few classes in which my B is close to an A and I am determined to work harder this semester to bring them up. I'm proud of myself because I have no C's which I haven't seen since freshman year. I hope that this semester I can work even harder to keep my grades up. One more week until my 16^th birthday! So excited :D I’m happy for these two extra days off because we didn’t have to swim, now I’m sad and don’t look forward to the next four weeks because I hate swimming.

Weekly Review 12/22

I'm so happy to finally be on Winter Break! I just want to sleep and catch upon all the sleep that I've lost since the beginning of the school year. I wish I didn't have any homework though, I was so close to not having any but I have History and Trig to do. I already know I'm going to wait last minute to do it because I'm going to have a very busy break, with my grandparents coming from Mexico and  the family I'm going to see during the holidays. When we go back to school I will be happy because then there will be one more month until my birthday. February 5th can not come fast enough. :)
